Emma Essinger personifies the essence of a cool and colorful artist, writing and producing her music and on top of that she is one of the most outstanding sax players out there. As of right now she is in the studio finishing the works of her debut EP to be released in 2020.
The first single, OH OH OH, is an Indie Pop power anthem dashed with heartache and pep.
The song sounds so good. I like the raw beats. Besides, the hooks are impressive. Furthermore, I’m also a fan of the strikingly fierce vocals and catchy elements.
Lyrically, Emma delivers. Her writing skills are on point.
Speaking about the track, the artist says: ”The song is about fighting that negative voice in your head, having two different sides, one supportive who says “come on you can do it” and one who says, “f**k no, back off.” I also wrote it as an honest talk to myself that in the end should be like a pep talk and a reminder to grab life at its core.”
Emma is a rising super star. She has her own style.
The song deserves to be heard. It’s a real anthem.
