Gardens of Capri was founded in 2019 by the California-native Amy Elizabeth Jarrett and Julian Scharpf.
They recently shared their new single Homebound.
The song sounds so good. I like the soulful guitar work. Besides, the vocals are outstanding. Furthermore, I am also a fan of the smooth grooves and solid hooks.
Lyrically, the duo delivers. With lines like, “But when my life falls apart and all my hope was money and cars…“ the song wonders what will happen when the world focuses only on the wasteful consumption of things – accumulating more, and more power, rather than showing love to our friends and family. Homebound is a reminder that everything on this earth is short-lived and fleeting. But true meaning can be found in love and connection with others.
Gardens of Capri’s art is next level. They have their own unique style.
The song deserves to be heard. It’s a gem.
