Holly Havens is a singer songwriter based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Her music blends together elements of pop, rock and country to create her own distinctive style.
She recently shared her new single Caught Up. The song is from her upcoming debut EP, scheduled for release some time this year.
Caught Up sounds so good. I like the brilliant guitar work. Besides, the vocals are stellar. Furthermore, I’m also a fan of the catchy refrains and subtle harmonies.
Lyrically, Holly delivers. She’s a talented writer.
On the single, the artist says: ”I wrote this song in an attempt to capture the feeling of infatuation. Through the lyrics and melody, I tried to capture the experience of feeling recognized by another person, as well as the realization that you have suddenly fallen head first for someone. It’s a fun summer song that I envision people playing loudly on their stereos whilst driving around town or by the beach.”
Holly is a rising superstar. Creatively, she’s amazing.
The song deserves to be heard. It’s a gem.
