Jenna & the Janes is a Brooklyn based band led by singer-songwriter Jenna Smith.
They recently shared their new single Mexican Cowboy. The song is from their upcoming debut album Earth Dog Year, scheduled for release some time this year.
Mexican Cowboy sounds so good. I like the brilliant guitar work. Besides, the drums are impressive. Furthermore, I’m also a fan of the lush vocal harmonies and solid hooks.
Lyrically, Jenna delivers. She has a unique writing style.
My favorite line of the song is: ”Autumn came and autumn went and I can’t remember the last time I spent a whole day wasting the time away.”
The band’s music connects with the universe. Artistically, they are fantastic.
The song deserves to be heard. It’s a gem.
