Born and raised in a small town located on the east coast of Australia, singer/songwriter Peri Crawford grew up with the life long dream of being a successful vocalist. She made strides towards this goal with the release of her debut EP Think Too Much in 2019. The EP was heavily influenced by both the pop and RnB genres and served as a beautiful first project. Peri credits the EP for allowing her to discover the true direction she wants to take for her music and is excited to explore more deeply the world of RnB as that is what truly speaks to her.

She recently released her new single You (feat. SXINT P).

The song sounds so good. I like the smooth melodies. Besides, the vocals are stellar. Furthermore, I’m also a fan of the catchy hooks and unique grooves.

Lyrically, the two deliver. Their writing style is unique.

Speaking about the track, Peri says: ”You was inspired by the feeling of being done with the typical dating games we so often play with each other. I had personally come to a point where I wasn’t looking for anything serious. But I also wasn’t wanting to be a lonely girl anymore, ha-ha. I was so over all the drama of waiting hours for a text back or having to go on ‘romantic’ dates. No-no-no, not for me, sir. I just wanted a chill vibe, to be upfront about what I wanted this to be and hopefully find someone who would feel the same. And it just so happened that a perfect person came into my world to take that position … and I was ‘vibin his outfit’.”

Peri is a rising superstar. She creates real art.

The song deserves to be heard. It has all the ingredients of a hit.
