Lauren Lakis recently released We’ll Be Fine. It’s the first single from her new album Daughter Language.
The song sounds so good. I like the brilliant guitar work. Besides, the vocals are impressive. Furthermore, I’m also a fan of the powerful hooks and unique grooves.
Lyrically, Lakis is talented. The single was written about a romantic relationship, but came to encompass so much more.
Speaking about the track, the artist says: ”As we’ve gone through this pandemic, it’s become a sort of love song to humanity, a ballad of hope. We’ve been given a unique opportunity to pause and go inward, where shadow exists alongside light. There is fear and grief and uncertainty, but ultimately I have faith that we will be fine, maybe better than “fine” if we choose.”
Lauren makes real art. She has her own style.
The song deserves 5 stars. It’s captivating from start to finish.
