Mili & Bertie are a British alt-pop duo comprised of two songwriters who together, have formed an artistry like no other.
They wrote and recorded That’s Alright during lockdown.
The song sounds so good. I like the brilliant guitar and drum work. Besides, the hooks are memorable. Furthermore, I’m also a fan of the sublime vocals.
Lyrically, the two deliver. Their writing style is impressive.
”The song was originally about the division of people who hold opposing views and about being frustrated with people you disagree with. However as soon as UK announced the Covid-19 Lockdown, we saw people from all backgrounds, ages, and cultures come together and help one another. This inspired us to take the song in another direction,” say the duo.
They add: ”We wanted to release it instead of waiting to get back in the studio, so we recorded it from home, and hope it brings people some joy during this time!”
Mili & Bertie’s music connects with people. The song deserves to be heard. It’s a modern masterpiece in my opinion.
You can stream That’s Alright on SoundCloud, Spotify or YouTube!
