Gillian is a pop/songwriter.
She recently released her new single Static.
The song sounds so good. I like the quirky melodies. Besides, the hooks are catchy. Furthermore, I’m also a fan of the sublime vocals.
Lyrically, Gillian delivers. She has a unique writing style.
Static is a bittersweet pop number that chronicles Gillian’s inner-dialogue ahead of a night out. “I actually wrote Static minutes before leaving my house to go out with my friends… I didn’t want to go, but I also didn’t want to miss out,” Gillian writes of the relatable concept behind the track.
The pop/songwriter makes real art. The song deserves to be heard. It’s a masterpiece in my opinion.
Static follows the release of High, a pensive ballad about the pains of addiction, released in late April. Gillian’s debut full-length album, 3AM, is slated for release later this year and follows up on last year’s impressive independent EP, Unfiltered.
