Hailing from The Netherlands, 24-year-old songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Mart van den Bighelaar is better known by his moniker, The Martial. Displaying exceptional perseverance, The Martial has ventured into uncharted territory in both his personal life and his music.
He recently released a new single titled Tell Me Where You Are.
The song has a unique quality to it. I like the brilliant guitar work. Besides, the hooks are catchy. Furthermore, I’m also a fan of the sublime vocals and solid grooves.
Lyrically, The Martial shines. He has an impressive writing style.
Speaking about the track, the artist says: ”Tell Me Where You Are is a song about knowing you will find the love of your life, but you have to be patient. The concept of the song was written in 2019 and it took almost a year to complete the lyrics. The mentioned ‘Sunset Boulevard’ is also a reference to an AirBnb in Croatia, which by chance was called ‘Sunset Boulevard’.”
The music video really captures the essence of the song. Visually, it looks cool.
Tell Me Where You Are has all the ingredients of a hit. It’s definitely worth listening to.
