Llynks aka Sara Kendall uses her haunting and introspective words to explore themes where she pushes through some of this self-doubt and gets to new highs of empowerment and self preservation.
She recently released her debut LP Become the Root.
The album is the embodiment of Sara Kendall — aka Llynks — flailing through her 20s. Moving from one mundane job to the next, throwing shit at a wall and hoping something eventually sticks. It’s about the uncertainty of existence, desperately obsessing over time wasted and what life should be instead of actually living it. Wondering whether she’s doing enough and whether she should have already accomplished this or that.
One of the highlights is Purified.
The song features robust synths, powerful vocals, and memorable hooks.
Llynks continues to deliver good music. Her talent has no end.
The song deserves 5 stars. It’s a must-hear.
