Hiding behind the enchanting name “The Girl & The Ghost” are Dorothee Möller and Timon Schemp, two Hamburg based musicians, who together create the perfect symbiosis of emotional songwriting and a modern sound.
The recently released their new single Silent Messages.
The song features quirky melodies, delicate vocals and catchy hooks.
Silent Messages is about unspoken truths and about letting go, which we all know is so hard. The duo creates the accompanying music video in DIY manner. With only their mobile phones they create a pastel-coloured world of escalators and Kaleidoscopes.
The Girl & The Ghost continue to deliver good music. They are so talented.
The song has all the ingredients of a hit. It deserves 5 stars.
Silent Messages is the first precursor of their upcoming EP full of music “about balancing in a world where everything and nothing moves at the same time”.
