Born in London but having grown up in a very remote part of the south of Scotland, Alexina has her very own unique take on pop music.
She recently released Where Are All The Boys?.
Alexina is calling out for the real boys in her new witty and feminist pop banger. She got a lot of support on her previous EP as Pitchfork, The Hype or Mahogany Session. WAATB is the first single of her upcoming EP scheduled for the Autumn.
The song features quirky melodies, sublime vocals, amazing grooves, and solid hooks.
Lyrically, Alexina delivers. She has an impressive writing style.
This track was written as a frustrated poem after a series of tragically bad dates. They all result in a dinner at a fancy restaurant as Alexina just wanted a Guinness at the god-damn pub!
WAATB deserves to be heard. It’s a modern masterpiece, in my opinion.
