Kirsty Grant is a 22-year-old artist based in London.
After gaining over 100,000 monthly listeners, and over 180,000 streams in less than two months with her May independent release, she releases her refreshing next single High Road.
The song features modern pop melodies, outstanding vocals, stacked harmonies, unique grooves, and catchy hooks.
Speaking on her new release, Kirsty explains: “The session took place in my bedroom over Zoom, and the song came very naturally. The track to me is not necessarily restricted to just feeling stuck in a relationship, but relates to general life, by learning to stand up for yourself and do what you feel is right.” Alongside the track’s lyrical message, “the song is really about self-reflection, about letting go of unhealthy relationships. It’s something I’ve really had to learn along the way, that I can be in the control seat.”
Kirsty makes real art. Her music connects with people.
High Road has all the ingredients of a hit. It deserves 5 stars.
The track was written and recorded during lockdown, and is the second of multiple singles coming this year.
You can stream High Road on SoundCloud or Spotify!
