Philippine is a 21-year-old artist from the Netherlands.
She recently released her second single Just Dancing. Produced by Mischa Dirksen. Mastered by Darius van Helteren.
The song features pop grooves, sublime vocals, soothing harmonies, catchy hooks and smooth guitar work.
Philippine’s writing skills are exceptional. Her lyrics resonate with the listener.
Speaking about the track, the artist says: “Have you ever been a relationship that was so toxic, yet if anybody asked, you pretended it was fine? Was it because you were still not ready to let go of the passion? Or was it because you just weren’t ready to admit to anyone, especially to yourself, how you truly felt? Or could it be that the poison is what drew you to that person in the first place? Just Dancing is about being in an explosive relationship, that you’re just not yet ready to reveal the truth about. So if anybody asks? You’re fine. You’re just dancing.”
Philippine had such a blast shooting the video. It was directed by Iris Klein.
Just Dancing deserves 5 stars. It’s captivating from start to finish.
