Lyrically, Scarlet delivers. Her writing skills are impressive.
Speaking about the track, the artist says: ”This record was inspired by my two best friends getting into some trouble and having to explain/hide that trouble from their significant others. I use sarcasm and wit to deal with tough or uncomfortable situations, so the song is playful on the surface level, but addresses the guilt of someone you love finding out a horrible secret that could change you guys forever.”
Scarlet has so much talent. Her art creates its own world. What I Did deserves 5 stars.
