Qinn’s sound is instantly familiar, yet completely fresh.
She recently released a new single titled Lemonade. Produced independently by Qinn, mixed by Chad Copelin (Flaming Lips, LANY) and mastered by Brian Lucey (Green Day, Black Keys).
The song features hazy analog synthesizers, vibey 70s-inspired bass lines, outstanding vocals, catchy hooks, smooth harmonies, and shimmering neon melodies.
Lyrically, Qinn delivers. Her words are full of wisdom.
Speaking about the track, the artist says: ”Lemonade is a song about what happens when what you want to happen, doesn’t.
It’s an intensely personal song written from the perspective of people who’ve let me down- – their message to me. It’s about the curveballs life throws you, about making peace with the tension that is living. A love letter to 90’s alt pop, living in the present.”
Qinn creates an atmosphere. Her music connects with people. Lemonade deserves 5 stars.
