Speaking about the track, the artist says: ”One By One is about letting go of someone you love, because of love. It represents a new beginning. After a difficult time, where I had to let go and find myself again, during the COVID-19 peak, a new era awaits. I’m finding new ways of making and writing music, I am taking on new collaborations: one of them is producer Dillan Sondervan, who produced One By One together with me, I am discovering new sides of myself and because I was able to let go, I am attracting new energy. Everything is new, different, but better. Doing more, leave less, being my determined self, following my gut feeling and vision, waiting less on things that are not going to happen: that is my new credo. Via my music I want to make you part of my metamorphosis, starting with the beginning.”
L’Asset creates an atmosphere. Her music connects with people. One By One deserves 5 stars. It’s a masterpiece, in my opinion.
The freesias, seen on the One By One cover art made by Yolet Luijendijk, represent the blossoming of something new. A characteristic of Freesias is that they blossom One By One.
L’Asset’s debut EP is set for release this fall.
