The Ocean Avenue EP is a crossroads of Drea’s eclectic musical background. A hybridization of influences from growing up, Drea pulls equally from the likes of Aretha Franklin, Erykah Badu, and Alicia Keys as well as from Fleetwood Mac and Tom Petty to name a few. Ritual is her homage to Soul and R&B.
Drea has so much talent. She creates an atmosphere. Ritual deserves 5 stars. It’s a modern masterpiece, in my opinion.
