Following on the heels of her recent singles, High and Static, Desperate is another preview of Gillian’s forthcoming debut album, 3AM, slated for release later this year.

Gillian’s lyrics are thoughtful. She treats her music as a conduit for truth. Whether behind the piano or with a guitar in hand, the Boston-based artist chronicles life’s ups and downs, ebbs and flows, and trials and tribulations with thoughtful clarity, poetic eloquence.
Speaking about the track, the pop singer/songwriter says: ”Desperate really sets the tone of my upcoming album, 3AM. It was one of the first songs I wrote for 3AM and it’s also one of my favorites. It’s angsty and authentic. Desperate tells the story of having feelings for someone else while in a relationship, describing both the thrill and guilt that comes with it.”
Gillian’s music captivates. Desperate has all the ingredients of a hit.
