Katie Glasgow released Midtown in September 2019, marking her entry into the Brooklyn indie-folk/ rock scene.
She just dropped her new single, Tarot Cards. A real summer anthem.
The song features brilliant guitar work, outstanding vocals, unique grooves, and memorable hooks.
Katie’s lyrics are impressive. She writes with so much depth. Every line in the song is golden.
Tarot Cards draws inspiration from both the gritty, raw shimmer-pop energy of artists like Alvvays and Best Coast, with the poeticism and poignancy Glasgow admires in classical vocal music.
Katie has so much talent. She creates an atmosphere. Tarot Cards deserves to be heard. Perfect song for today. I’d call it a masterpiece.
The artist will release her debut EP, Saint, this summer!
