Shortly after Mary released her first album she won The Canadian Screen Award and had several film and television placements–not long after this she found herself unexpectedly moving to small town Ontario and focusing on new-motherhood–she has recently started releasing music again.

Mary’s lyrics are impressive. She writes with so much depth. Her stories are interesting.
Giant Floating Swan is about failing marriage, end stage capitalism, elephants in rooms, things that feel too overwhelming to admit they are happening.
Mary has so much talent. She creates worlds. Giant Floating Swan deserves to be heard. It’s a modern masterpiece, in my opinion.
