Things We Don’t Talk about is the new EP from ROE, the 21 year old dark pop artist from Derry (Northern Ireland) and winner of “Best Emerging Artist” at the 2018 Northern Ireland Music Prize.
One of the highlights of the mini-album is A Quiet Place.
The song features powerful melodies, outstanding vocals, memorable hooks, and catchy sounds.
Roe’s writes with so much depth. She’s a real storyteller. Her words capture her thoughts. Every line is golden.
A Quiet Place was written about privacy and leaving things unsaid. Within this digital age it feels like these things are pretty much impossible and this song is about the fear of a world with no secrets left to give.
ROE has so much talent. A Quiet Place deserves to be heard. It’s a modern masterpiece, in my opinion.
