Singer and songwriter Tasha Zoe has been a presence in the North Florida music scene since 2015. It was there that she began playing solo acoustic sets to eventually headlining local venues with the backing of a full band. In the summer of 2019, Tasha packed her bags and moved to Nashville.
Tasha recently released a new single titled You’ll See Me Around.
The song features sublime vocals, smooth harmonies, brilliant guitar work, and memorable hooks.
Tasha writes with authenticity. She’s a real story teller. Her lyrics are full of light.
Speaking about the track, the artist says: ”My song called You’ll See Me Around was written earlier this year, shortly after the 2020 Nashville tornadoes and through the beginning weeks of COVID-19 lockdowns when I was cooped up at home. I was inspired to write this song because I was reflecting on the physical aftermath of the storm (I live in East Nashville, one of the hardest-hit neighborhoods).
Though there was devastation, the community banded together to rebuild… and that reminded me that overcoming tragedy is possible for everyone. The song is about rising above a negative mental state despite having difficulties in life at the present, or dire past situations that I thought I could never get through.
This is a song about joy and finding positivity after the destruction.”
Tasha has so much talent. She creates an atmosphere. You’ll See Me Around deserves to be heard. A masterpiece. Perfect for today. Every second of the song is iconic.
