Darla Jade recently released her third single of 2020, titled Two Of You.
The new single was produced in Thailand at Karma Sound Studios, where the artist worked on an album’s worth of material last summer.
Two Of You is a fantastic piece of music. The song features sublime vocals, intriguing hooks, catchy pop sounds, and driven bass lines.
Darla’s lyrics are impressive. She writes with authentic depth. Every line tells its own story. Interesting work.
The pop singer-songwriter has a skill of taking inspiration from almost anything. When asked what her next single was about in a recent interview, she said, ‘It’s all about those moments of deja vu! I took inspiration for Two Of You around last year – For some reason at this time, there were numerous occasions where strangers said they felt they knew me, but didn’t know how because we had definitely never met – well not in this lifetime anyway! And it got me thinking of times when I had met someone for the first time and instantly felt that we’d known each other for years!’
Darla creates an atmosphere. Two Of You deserves 5 stars. Such a captivating song. Perfect for today.
