With British, Swiss and Irish roots, Claire Frances takes inspiration from her different backgrounds to craft her stunning and original blend of dream-folk.
She recently released a new single titled Rabbit Hole.
The song features fantastic acoustic guitar work, sublime vocals, soothing harmonies, minimalistic grooves, and unique hooks.
Lyrically, Claire remains as thoughtful as ever. Her writing skills are impressive. Every line has meaning.
Speaking about the track, the artist says: ”Rabbit Hole was inspired by me watching someone very close to me go through an abusive and manipulative relationship. It is a topic that is understandably hard to write about, but the song describes the sense of release, sadness and eventual acceptance when it all finally ended and they were able to move on. It is such an important song to me and I hope that others who have been in similar situations with find it cathartic and be able to relate.”
Claire makes real art. Her music captivates people. Rabbit Hole deserves 5 stars. What an impressive piece of work.
