Elephant Castle – the retro-inspired indie rock project from Los Angeles-based singer and multi-instrumentalist Phil Danyew, formed in late 2019.
He recently released new single Euphoria.
It’s a fantastic piece of work. Elephant Castle captivates listeners with dreamy melodies, sublime melodies, and memorable hooks.
Euphoria has a great story. Every line is golden. Captivating from beginning to end.
Speaking about the track, Elephant Castle says: ”I met my wife at the LAX airport in Los Angeles. We were on different flights leaving out of the same gate. Come to find out later we lived five blocks away from each other. The first time we saw each other it was like laser beam focus. I’ve never experienced anything like that. This song is about her and the serendipitous feeling you get when something that is meant to be comes into your life unexpectedly.”
Elephant Castle makes really good music. He creates an atmosphere. Euphoria deserves 5 stars.
