Singer-songwriter Erika Wester releases new single Nightingale. Her vocals are backed by acoustic guitar. It’s soothing and calm. The way Erika tells stories is unmatched. Inspiring to listen to.
Speaking of the track, Erika said: ”I wrote Nightingale last December (2019) during a sort of crossroads in my life. I was on the verge of a breakup, and was unsure where I wanted my life to go. I brought the song to Josh Story (the producer and engineer) in early 2020, and then the pandemic hit. We put it on pause for a while until we were able to safely finish the song during the summer. It’s about feeling lost and isolated. The literal lyrics come from realizing how hard I was on myself in my earlier years, instead of allowing myself to make mistakes, learn, and grow.”
Such a timeless sound. Erika weaves genres together seamlessly. Another level of artistry. Check out Nightingale below.
