London based Bristol-born singer Charlotte Lansman unveils soul-meets-jazz song The Cage, one of my favourite releases of the week. It’s bright and crisp. Just brilliant. Charlotte vocals are wrapped around a shimmering instrumental, delivering a fresh sound.
Of the track, she says: ”The Cage is a song about how easy it’s to create habits in relationships that we later resent or struggle with. And how the relationships that we watch and learn from in our early lives can often influence who we later end up partnering with, even if we don’t recognise it at first.”
Truly iconic record, no doubt about that. Charlotte sets new trends in music. Check out The Cage below!
