Lefuturewave is a music blog based in the Netherlands. We feature emerging as well as established artists.
Amsterdam-based singer/songwriter Joëtta takes inspiration from artists like Alice Phoebe Lou, Lucy Rose and Lisa Hannigan. She releases debut single Here. It’s acoustic, yet theatrical. The lyrics are written with heart and soul. It reflects the real world, where emotions are part of society. That makes Here so relatable. Joëtta’s vocals soar over dreamy melodies and brilliant guitar work, resulting in a sound that has never been heard before.
Joëtta is currently working on a debut EP, I can’t wait to hear the full project. In the meanwhile, check out Here below. One of my favorites songs of 2021, so far.
