French duo Melrøse unveils debut single Poolside. I think it’s great. Crisp vocals soar over an ocean of electronic sounds, making the production fresh. Absolutely a bop, worth many repeated listens.
The lyrics are poetic in multiple ways. Poolside tells story of two lovers, Anne-Camille and Anthony, who decide on a night of june to put their intimacy into a musical piece, from their hotel room in famous Melrose Avenue in LA.
First EP, out next summer. I’m looking forward to it. In the meanwhile, check out Poolside below!
