Emerging singer-songwriter Rhu makes music that feels different yet familiar. She releases her debut EP Transitioning, consisting of six songs. One of the absolute highlights is Silently Walking, the opening track. You’ll be intrigued by its intro and outro, which feel incredibly original. The verses lead into a well-structured chorus, while bright vocals soar over indie jazz instrumentation featuring solid drum, guitar, and piano work.
