17 year old Australian singer/songwriter Bree Rusev from Newcastle started songwriting and performing just months after picking up the guitar for the first time at age 14. In June 2020, she released Coastline, a calm, but lively song. It blends elements of Indie Folk and Indie Pop, which results in a unique sound. Bree’s delicate vocals soar over minimalist acoustic backing. The lyrics suit the music well. Coastline was inspired by Bree’s love for the ocean and nature.
