L’Asset, a Dutch Alt-Synthpop-act, unveils Nomad, the first single taken from her forthcoming album. It’s absolutely brilliant. With a distinctive sound, L’Asset creates a great atmosphere. Strong vocals drift over a nostalgic, yet modern production, which features infectious melodies and a solid beat.
The lyrics are poetic, it will draw you in immediately. ”Nomad means ‘freedom’ to me”, says L’Assets. She adds: ”Where is home? For me it was a journey. Do I feel home in Groesbeek/Nijmegen, where I was born and raised, is it Rotterdam, the city where L’Asset originated or Harlem, where the love is?”
