British artist Harriet Dagnall releases her second song Tied Up. Rich vocals drift over heavy synths and bold guitar lines, creating a new style of music. I really like the chorus on this one. Harriet’s lyrics are thought-provoking, full of poetic language.
Tied Up is a song about stagnation, initially written as a cathartic acoustic ballad about wanting to break out of the monotony of everyday life, the cyclical process of making choices (in work, love etc.) thinking they will make you feel free but which always fall short and leave you reaching.
Harriet has a clear vision, she’s super creative. Her sound has a bit of Marika Hackman and Yebba. Listen to Tied Up below!
