Last month, London-based French/British songstress Gracie Convert released her successful single Stay. She now unveils You got me, it’s a new bop. By incorporating elements from Neo-Soul, R&B, and Pop, Gracie creates a rich soundscape, filled with catchy melodies and strong rhythms. Gracie’s vocals are crystal clear, conveying the song’s message so well.
Lyrically relatable, the track comes across as à sort of open love letter; honest, heartfelt and straight to the point. “It’s funny because I’m so used to writing about the sad side of love, it’s what comes most naturally, I honestly didn’t think I had it in me to write about love in such a positive light after what I’ve been through and what I’ve seen, but it’s nice to be able to do so”
