I’d like to introduce Sandra Iris, a 25 year old artist from Madrid. Last week, she released her newest single, I’m Trash. While its verses are more Lo-Fi, the chorus is highly influenced by Indie Pop. My favourite aspect of this song is how crisp and balanced the vocals are. Sandra shows her brilliance as a writer through captivating lyrics. An accompanying music video is available for I’m Trash.
Sandra comments: ”I’m Trash is an ironic song. It tells the story of being in love with a friend, while they are in love with someone else. You feel like shit yes, but then you reach a cathartic point where you don’t give a fuck and you write this song making fun of you for being dramatic about this. It’s not the end of the world.”
