ÒLAH BLISS writes songs that are authentic and connect with audiences. Modern classics like Push Me to the Edge and We Only Live Once deserve all the recognition they can get. This new single, Psycho, continues to intrigue. Here, the music is really down-tempo. Strong vocals are accompanied by more classical instrumentation. Lyrics represent the focus of the song. ÒLAH’s storytelling skills are still unparalleled.
The artist explains: ”This is probably one of the most important songs of my career. I’ve never written such a personal record. This song explains what goes on in my head 24/7, the anxiety, the depression, the self-destructive behaviours, self criticism, the urge to control how other people view me. Call it a “therapy session”, because that’s what I imagined it to be whist writing the song, one on one with someone who can get through to me. Music has driven me to such madness on so many occasions and this is the first time I’ve ever spoken about it to any capacity.”
I consider this song to be a masterpiece, as it’s exceptionally well-crafted. It always amazes me how creative ÒLAH is. You should definitely have Psycho on your playlist. Check it out below!
