Detroit-based artist Jax Anderson (FKA Flint Eastwood) drops her new song, Good Day, which features MisterWives and rising rapper Curtis Roach. It’s out now via Neon Gold Records. I like the way the performances soar above the indie pop influenced instrumental. A catchy chorus lets you sing along. The production value of Good Day is fantastic, thanks to the variety of elements.
Jax Anderson comments: ”I wrote this song in a parking lot of a venue in Rhode Island when I was on tour with MisterWives. I was having an incredible day where I felt confident & was wearing an amazing outfit so I wanted to document it. I brought it to Jesse of MisterWives & he layed some horns down in the greenroom. I brought it to Curtis when I got home & he went crazy on it. I knew Mandy would bring a certain ease & optimism that the track needed. I hit her up & she created something fantastic. I’m happy to have it out & into the world.”
The music is uplifting and will keep you going throughout the week. Check out Good Day below!
