Pale Moon is an Icelandic duo who released a new single, titled Parachutes. I especially like the groove. Nata’s lead vocals have a lot of richness to them. The chorus is not only brilliantly crafted but also catchy.
”I was reading beatnik poetry at the moment and took a line from Barbara Guest (1920) poem. We only had that little part “parachutes, my love, could carry us higher” on voice memo. We came back to this idea when we already moved to Tarragona, Spain and set our mind to record the album. It changed a lot while we were working on it.” – Nata
