Emerging alt-pop artist Natalie McCool releases new single, Heaven, and announces, Memory Girl, her next album. This song gives a good impression of what to expect; thoughtful and solid music. I appreciate the way the vocals accompany the instrumental, which includes unique guitar work and a spellbinding melody.
On the song, McCool comments: “When I go to heaven, will I remember how it feels?” Heaven is a state of never forgetting how good or right something was, even if you’re viewing it through rose tinted shades, or in hindsight; even if it’s so overpowering it drags you right back to square one – back to that time and place.”
