Hadley Kennary, an artist/songwriter, recently shared new single, Crooked Roots. The music will capture your attention immediately. There’s constant movement in its sound. Rich vocals are layered over mellow, yet brilliantly crafted instrumentals. The lyrics provide thoughtful storytelling.
Inspired by the acoustic songwriter-pop she was raised on, Hadley dives into the bittersweet realization that it’s ok to call many different places home. Both nostalgic and melancholic, Crooked Roots is a raw, powerful statement for Hadley, both artistically and personally.
As always, Hadley delivers high-quality work. Later this year, she will release an EP, and if she maintains this level, it’s going to be so innovative. Stream Crooked Roots below!
