Maria Borkowski is a singer/songwriter from Sweden. She shares debut single, Keychain. It has nostalgic undertones. In this music, there’s a lot of calmness, which creates a dreamy ambiance. I especially like the vocals, they seem to be a perfect compliment to the instrumental. Keychain also features some brilliant lyrics.
The song talks about falling for someone and letting yourself imagine the future with that person even though it might be a bit early on. It’s also about loving yourself before loving another person making the one that gives you those butterflies being like sprinkles on top of ice creaming; making something that’s already good even better.
Maria makes a strong entry into the Indie Pop scene. Check out Keychain below!
