Vaeda Black is a singer, songwriter and performer raised on the suburban edges of New York City. In collaboration with Brooklyn-based multi-instrumentalist and artist Tiger Darrow, she releases Boyz Club. Its airy, crisp vocals fit well with the modern electo-pop instrumental. Each section features new sounds. I consider this production to be exceptional.
Boyz Club mainly focuses on lyrics. Having both experienced sexism in the male-dominated field, it’s a testament to the artists embracing their power as strong women in the music business, and an f-you to the patriarchy that runs it.
After listening to Boys Club, you’ll feel empowered. It conveys important messages. Listen below!
