GOSTO, aka Roel Vermeer, is a Dutch singer-songwriter whose heartfelt music conveys a message to listeners. I like the sound of Yurnodalone, mainly because it’s very mellow, but also soulful and poppy at the same time. There are some catchy elements in the chorus that make it more melodic than the verses.
Yurnodalone talks about sharing the deeper layers within yourself. The nostalgic feeling that the music evokes was leading in writing the lyrics, in which he promises his lover to always be as honest as possible. “After all, life has so many faces”.
