Hannah Crowley is a singer/songwriter from Dublin, Ireland who currently resides in Los Angeles. She studied classical and jazz music, but now she combines the sounds of yesterday and today to create timeless pop music that lives long in the memory.
Not My Friend features some fantastic instrumentation to go along with its vocals. The sounds of the drums and guitar are really catchy. Especially since it depicts authenticity, the lyrical content impresses me.
Hannah describes the track as follows: ”Not My Friend resonates hugely with me as it reminds me of a time when my anxiety got the best of me, and no matter where I went I always felt like there was an unwanted guest at the table inside my head. I hope people who suffer from anxiety can take some comfort in this song.”
