Laura Lucas, born in Canada, is an indie-folk singer-songwriter with a poetic approach to writing. In Lost and Found, the first single from her debut EP, you can hear skillful guitar work and calm ryhtyms. Soaring vocals complete the mix. Garrett Kato worked remotely with Laura on the production.
Lost and Found captures the feeling of being in a place for the first time that truly feels like home. That city was Melbourne for Laura. She manages to express her thoughts well in the song’s lyrics.
Light the Candle, Hold the Mirror, Laura’s forthcoming project, will likely include other, perhaps less upbeat, but still excellent songs. It will be available next year. Until then, check out Lost and Found below!
