Songwriter/producer Jane Machine, aka Erica von Trapp, paints striking landscapes when she’s at the studio. Human Bond, her most recent single, may seem experimental, but it also has a sense of pop in it. The industrial-like grooves and melodic sounds bolster the instrumental’s chemistry with the vocal. Insightful lyrics invite you to immerse yourself fully into the song’s meaning.
Jane tells us: ”Human Bond was written during quarantine 2020 while fostering a pregnant siamese cat in the Joshua Tree desert. The song is about simultaneous connection through self actualization.”
