The Australian singer-songwriter/producer behind Kids At Midnight is Jane Elizabeth Hanley. Her most recent release, Lovesick, gets its energy from euphoric synths and a whirlwind of other sounds. The arrangement recalls the early 2000s, which makes it particularly intriguing to me. The song’s inviting tone and melodic character result from strong and bright vocals.
Kids At Midnight says this about the track: ”Lovesick is an anthem for all troubled love, tortured souls and those who don’t care if they’re a mess on the floor.”
