Stacey Kelleher’s songs indicate that she’s still figuring things out in life, and that’s okay. The singer-songwriter’s debut EP, Songs So Far, represents her best work yet. A track on the project, called Worst Case Scenario, is so emotionally moving. Almost as if it speaks directly to you. Piano takes the lead as the primary component in this arrangement, providing texture. Stacey’s raw, heartfelt vocals are well-mixed, you can hear every subtlety. This song’s lyrics reveal both vulnerability and strength.
Stacey says about the EP: ”These songs tell the story of my first two years in Nashville and they’re each a little piece of the puzzle I’m putting together.”
Worst Case Scenario is comparable to some of this year’s most iconic releases. In such an engaging way, the singer-songwriter interacts with the audience. Stacey explains everything thoroughly. I’m impressed by the way she approaches things.
