With Head Held High, Amsterdam-based alt-pop artist Noha Saré offers a stark, positive message during these trying times. It impresses on every level, not only lyrically, but also sound-wise. As you listen, you’ll notice mysterious melodies and swirling synths. Noha’s ethereal tones give the music additional nuances.
Regarding the track, Noha says: ”This song is about not giving up and about revolt. Don’t let anybody ever tell you you’re not good enough or you can’t do it.”
Noha continues to pursue different directions, which makes her style so interesting. Each release brings something refreshing. Poetic writing allows Noha to create immersive scenarios. She leads us to worlds in other galaxies. I can see this artist becoming a major one. When you look at the abilities Noha has, I think she has a very promising future ahead of her.
